I can't believe I hadn't eaten here before tonight. Everything on the menu is amazing. My least favorite was the Doner Shwarma, it's like thinly sliced steak, but I still liked it.
I'm glad they were out of baklava, so we got the other 2 desserts. They were so good, especially the cheesy one. -

Today, it was my first time in here with my friend, it was such an authentic place, you definitely feel the atmosphere of Mediterranean with the traditionally done decoration. We ordered humus to start with, it was very flavored and tasty. For the entree i got mix veggie platter, I don't even know where to start to describe it. Spinach pie, stuffed grape leaves, salad, rice... Everything was wonderful. The dessert was the epic of the meal. The staff was very attentive. We'll definitely come back.

Well , being in New Orleans for so many days .... we tried a number of places . We love Mediterranean food and after doing a walking tour with our guide Andrew in the garden city we came here. I think this is an awesome Turkish Mediterranean place for lunch or dinner. They have some awesome appetizers and their entrees had a variety of lamb beef and chicken dishes , with soups Andy salads if they your thing. They also have sandwiches and wraps but all in all a great experience with good service!!

I had dinner at Anatolia on Sunday night after my first choice for Mediterranean food was unexpectedly closed for the evening. I had the Chicken shwarma plate. I would characterize the meal as average overall. The chicken was well flavored but not very hot and the portion of the chicken was quite small. The plate had a lot of rice, a small amount of hummus, and salad. I did not feel like the meal was worth the price that was charged. New Orleans has a large selection of great food choices including Mediterranean and I continue to prefer Sharazad Cafe down the street on Magazine for its portion sizes and value. However, I could see myself going to Anatolia again and perhaps trying another item, such as the falafel sandwich. The complimentary tea offered at the conclusion of the meal is a nice touch.
